I haven't really felt like blogging for a while, and it was all too easy to slip quietly from the blogging world. But Kate had a first this past weekend that was so momentous, it turned out to be enough impetus to get me back on the horse. This is what happened:

We were in the car, probably listening to talk radio, when Kate asks, "Can we listen to some muskit?" (pronounced mewskit; that's how she says music, and it's too funny to correct her :) )
I say, "Sure, what do you want to listen to?"

"That song, 'If you fall, I'll getcha.'"

That's right. Kate requested her first Cyndi Lauper song, and I couldn't be more proud.

Not to be outdone, our little numbers genius Faith has started counting to one. (yes, she still has to use her fingers)

I love your stories, they make me laugh so hard! Your family is adorable. Berkley always insists that I be the evil step-mother when we play Cinderella because she is a "princess" and I am "mean".
